– With antenna the Eiffel Tower is 1062.99 foot tall ( 324 metres) and there are about 120 antennas
– Height of each floor: 1st floor: 57m; 2nd floor: 115m; 3rd floor: 276m
– There are 1,665 steps on the East staircase until the top
– The Tower weighs 10,100 tons out of which 7,300 tons is fully metal
– There are about 18,000 metallic parts joined by 2,500,000 rivets
– Eiffel Tower is painted every 7 years and it requires 60 Tons of paint to paint the entire Tower
– Almost 7 MILLION visitors visit Eiffel Tower every year out of which 75% are foreigners

The Panama Canal French scandal was one of the biggest financial scandals of that century. Even though Eiffel himself was not responsible, his name was tarnished which made him withdrew from business and public life. He was fined 2000 Francs and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment, but was later annulled by the court as he was proved innocent
-After retiring Gustave Eiffel researched on many ideas in the aerodynamics, meteorology, and radio-broadcasting fields using Eiffel Tower and finally died on December 27, 1923.
